Product Description

Installs in place of your factory crank pulley. This is a BOLT on installation. Made of super light weight 6061 aluminum, this pulley allows the engine to rev more freely by replacing the heavy cast iron pulley it replaces. Over THREE pounds removed from your rotating assembly will allow you to reach the desired rev range sooner and put more power to the wheels. Zetec motors are INTERNALLY ZERO balanced, meaning the factory pulley IS NOT a harmonic dampener of any kind. Swapping to this pulley will have NO adverse effects on engine longevity, Massive’s staff has logged literally over 250,000 collective miles with pullies of this type installed and have seen NO unsatisfactory qualities. Loved em. As the guy states above, you have to trim the plastic piece behind the pulley. But it details all of that in the instructions, and I’ve had to do that with all other brands of pullies too. It’s a 5 minute thing – no big deal. Other than that the power increase/quicker revving was noticable!!! Really well made too!!!

I recently added a FSWerks supercharger to my car and needed to drop the under drive pulleys for my install. I didn’t want to put the heavy stocker back on and then I ran upon this. It is REALLY light weight, seams a lot more then the advertised 3 lbs when holding the stocker in the other hand. Anyways very happy with it and would definitely recommend to anyone that needs a stock size crank pulley but still wants to save on rotating mass.

This was a very nicely made part, but to get it to fit properly, we had to remove a bit of plastic on cover that interfered with the lip of the pulley. You can see on the “stock” pulley that there is a bevel or countersunk lip on the outer edge of the wide-side pulley face. That is not on the Massive part. On my PWSC car, that caused slight rubbing that we fixed by remove (grinding) off a bit of plastic. Just a heads up that this part could use a slight manufacturing modification to match the stock piece or could require slight fitment changes on some cars.
